Jack Kevorkian notoriusly known as doctor death, he has
different principles or perspective from medical ethic and laws in Indonesia .
Maybe what in his mind is, “that death is patient rigtht, it is a duty for doctor to help patient in euthasia if the reason is right”. Medical ethic has principles that underlying all doctor must do and must not do, they are respect for person; beneficience(doing good); non maleficience (do no harm); justice. Every doctor maybe has different interpetation about it, and maybe the the decision changed simply depend on patient condition and doctor condition. The most considerable about patient condition is how bad the dissease. The most affecting doctor decision is about monetary condition, except a litte doctor isn’t. I don’t know who is Kevorkian and I don’t judge him. I apologize if I’m wrong and you don’t agree with me. I hope this case will be a reflection for us, thinking what we’ve done in everyday practice. Don’t wait until prison try to change your mind.
